Talk: Birds Unite Us

We are pleased to invite you to the talk “Birds Unite Us” by Patrick Nadeau, President and Executive Director of Birds Canada, moderated by Mariette Raina from Age of Union. The discussion will explore how birds are at the heart of numerous environmental issues and inspiring conservation initiatives. You will learn more about the importance of birds and our understanding of imperilled species and ecosystems.

Protecting the beauty and diversity of life on Earth… that’s what makes Patrick Nadeau tick! A biologist by training, he has spent his entire career in the field of conservation. From marine turtles to Woodland Caribou to American Eel to birds, his approach has always been the same – it takes passionate people working together to tackle the greatest conservation challenges we face. For over ten years, Patrick has held leadership roles at the helm of several environmental organizations – currently as the President & CEO of Birds Canada. He lives in Ottawa (ON) with his partner and his binoculars which are never far.
