Ocean Wise‘s Youth to Sea team is hosting an event screening of two short documentary films made by Age of Union called “Caught” and the “The Corridor”. Both films are English and the screening is open to friends, family and invited guests! This event is a first in Montreal! The screening will be followed by a discussion with Dax Dasilva, founder of Age of Union, at 7:30 p.m.

CAUGHT reveals the shocking consequences of overfishing, excess consumerism, and the depletion of oceanic ecosystems through a raw, unfiltered look at boots-on-the-ground activism. The film will take you on a journey with Sea Shepherd France, Sea Shepherd Global, and the crew of our vessel, the M/Y Age of Union, who are fighting to expose the slaughter of dolphins and commercial fishing off France’s Atlantic coast and get the government’s attention. This film was created in partnership with Sea Shepherd.

THE CORRIDOR : Discover the grounbreaking strategy to save Eastern Lowland Gorillas and fight for a wildlife corridor in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. This film was created in partnership with The Forest Health Alliance and Strong Roots Congo.
