In River’s Heartbeat, Age of Union partners with the BC Parks Foundation & Katzie First Nations to showcase the critical mission of protecting the Pitt River watershed, a vital 733-acre ecosystem in British Columbia essential to wildlife and Indigenous communities.

This short film explores the Alouette River, where salmon face increasing threats that endanger the region’s ecological balance. Through the perspectives of Indigenous leaders and youth, River’s Heartbeat shares the cultural, spiritual, and environmental importance of salmon, calling for collective action to safeguard these waters.
