Our impact to date
- 1,567,474 acres of critical habitat permanently protected across four continents, with Age of Union’s support.
- 200+ threatened species safeguarded in these habitats, including gorillas, orangutans, leatherback turtles, leopards, sun bears, toucans, giant river otters, bald eagles, and more.
- CA$ 39 million raised and leveraged by our partners throughout the lifespan of their projects — nearly a one-to-one match of Age of Union’s original CA$ 40 million commitment.
In October 2021, Age of Union announced a CA$ 40 million commitment to conservation. We support initiatives that protect the planet’s most threatened species and ecosystems while working to restore the natural world. In close collaboration with passionate partners, local stakeholders, and Indigenous communities, we operate on land, in forests, across rivers, and throughout the world’s oceans. Our partners implement a wide range of conservation strategies — from wildlife corridor creation to agroforestry — tailored to the specific needs of each region and ecosystem.
